Giving of our resources (i.e. time in service, finances etc) is part of our spiritual act of worship. We believe we are called to diligently steward the resources God's entrusted to us, and sow them into the Kingdom. As eternal beings, we focus on building Heavenly treasures and not earthly ones, because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have comes from Him. (Matthew 6:19-21)

Our work is an effort to serve God and our neighbours. One of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our “firstfruits”. The value of our offering is not determined by how much we give, but how we give. (Mark 12:41-44) Believers are called to give out of a heart of thanksgiving to God, and not out of legalistic obligation. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9)

The Grainery mobilises a volunteer workforce that serves the local community, building up Youth, Young Adults, Kids, families and individuals. We also meet the needs of disadvantaged individuals in need through Grainery Care (a registered charity).

The majority of our leaders are volunteers. Paid staff members are also recruited to devote more time to serve the community. We are thankful for those who have helped meet the needs in this community, and pray that The Grainery community will join in faithful, consistent giving as Scripture instructs. We encourage you to give as the Lord leads, and thank you for serving every individuals our Lord has called us to embrace.
